We’ve had a massive amount of stock arrive last week and our clothing racks are groaning and stuffed to the gills! “We’ve got no rooooom!” our staff are crying - so what to do?! Also, as Easter Weekend is coming up soon, we would like to let you know that all Wildilocks stores will be closed on 6-7 April to give our hardworking staff some well earned rest and time to eat chocolate. We will be open as normal on 9th April though :)

Okay, this will depend a little on how long you’ve been dying your hair for if it has been dyed black (or is it natural black?) because if there’s a strong build up of colour it may need to be lightened twice before colouring with red to get a really intense bright result. Full head of extensions can be anywhere from $400 to $700ish depending how many we put in, the colour would also vary depending how much we need to prelighten, but should be around $150 - $250ish.

It’s really hard to tell without seeing your hair in person if we’d recommend extensions 100%. Generally if your hair is quite thick, it can be a bit more challenging to blend well, but the most important thing is your hair needs to be cut correctly beforehand to get a smooth, seamless blend :) Which salon are you close to?

We do indeed! Our “normal” colour range is CHI from the USA which are all ammonia free. We can also do Henna.

Most salons don’t understand a Bettie Page but WE DO! We do a lot of vintage styles. If you have fine hair it’s harder to get really thick bangs, need to cut them a bit deeper and spend a little time styling but it IS possible!

Hey Lockie,
9cm is pretty short, but we can start dreads on that length with no problems - thinner dreads a little easier to start than thicker ones though when hair is that short. You would lose a couple of centimeters and they’d start out pretty sticky-outy, but it’s good to start dreads short, they tend to grow nicely :)
